President of the Alumni Association of the Maritime Academy of Nigeria (AMANO), Emmanuel Maiguwa, has congratulated Comptroller Dera Nnadi, Controller of the Tincan Island port Command of the Nigeria Customs Service on his promotion to Assistant Comptroller-General (ACG).
Speaking when he paid a courtesy visit to Nnadi in his office on Wednesday, Maiguwa described the Tin can Customs boss as an outstanding officer with passion in the development of maritime trade and operation.
He praised Comptroller Nnadi for his exceptional leadership, stating that during his tenure as CAC Tin can, the industry has benefited significantly from his expertise and guidance.
While wishing Comptroller Nnadi great success on his new role, Maiguwa who is also the President of Maritime Security Providers Association of Nigeria (MASPAN) assured him of the association’s continued support.
“Comptroller Nnadi has been an an outstanding officer with particular passion in the development of maritime trade and operation.
The industry has been benefiting from his time here as CAC Tin-can command.
As he ascends higher, I wish him great success and assurance of support,” he said.
Comptroller Nnadi’s outstanding performance recently earned him recognition and awards of Excellence at the Comptroller General of Customs (CGC) Award Night Ceremony held last month in Abuja.
