Top officials of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) have poured encomiums on former National President, Prince Olayiwola Shittu, as he marks his 74th birthday, today, October 15.
Prince Shittu, a respected leader in the maritime industry is the Chief Executive Officer, Skelas Goup Limited.
In separate congratulatory messages, ANLCA chieftains, including Vice President Prince Segun Oduntan, Board of Trustees (BoT) members- Dayo Azeez, Ademola Mumuney, and Muhammed Utai, as well as Treasurer Hajia Bola Muse, extolled Prince Shittu’s visionary leadership, dedication, and hard work.
They praised his remarkable leadership and immense contributions to ANLCA’s growth and the maritime industry, noting that his legacy has left an indelible mark on the association.
In his congratulatory message, Oduntan described Prince Shittu as a man of noble character and source of inspiration to many.
He commended Prince Shittu’s commitment to the customs brokerage profession, wishing him good health, happiness, and many more glorious years ahead.
Oduntan’s congratuatory message reads, “It is your birthday again and this affords us another golden opportunity to celebrate you our leader, a beacon of hope, inspiration and a man of noble character.
“As you celebrate another dawn in your life, I, on behalf of the National Executive Committee and members of ANLCA join your numerous admirers home and abroad to celebrate you and your incredible contributions to the customs brokerage profession and the maritime industry at large.
“Your leadership skills and visionary mindset have paved the way for aspiring leaders, showing them that with determination and hard work, anything is possible.
“As you mark this milestone, I pray that God continues to bless you with good health, happiness and many more glorious years ahead.”
In his own birthday message, Dayo Azeez, a member of the ANLCA BoT described Prince Shittu, as a true icon in the maritime industry, praising his remarkable life, achievements and contributions to ANLCA and the industry.
“On this special day, I join family, friends and well wishers in celebrating your remarkable life, achievements, and contributions to our great association and the maritime industry at large.
“In my association with you over the years, you have proved to be not just a friend but a dependable ally.
“As a former President of ANLCA, you left an indelible mark, shaping the customs brokerage profession. Your dedication, expertise, and vision have inspired countless individuals and organizations.
“As you mark this milestone, I wish you many more years of good health, happiness, and continued impact.”
Managing Director, Stoirin Maritime Services Ltd and member, ANLCA BoT, Adenola Mumuney also sent in his birthday message to Shittu.
It reads, “As a two-term National President of ANLCA, your historic contributions have left an indelible mark.
“Your exemplary leadership, resilience, and selflessness navigated the association through challenging times.
“Today, I join family and friends to celebrate your remarkable life, achievements, and the countless lives you’ve impacted.”
Speaking on behalf of members from the Northern chapters, a member of the ANLCA BoT, Utai Muhammed Sanni expressed gratitude to Shittu’s unwavering commitment to the association’s growth.
His birthday message reads, “I, on behalf of ANLCA members, Northern Chapters celebrate you, our esteemed President Emeritus, Prince Olayiwola Shittu on this special occasion of your 74th birthday.
“Your unwavering commitment to ANLCA have been truly remarkable. We are grateful for the invaluable contributions you have made to the growth and success of our great association.
“Your leadership qualities have played a significant role in restoring and strengthening the peace we now enjoy in ANLCA today.”
Additional congratulatory message from Hajia Bola Muse reads, “You remain a role model to the younger generation, as you have, through sheer diint of hard work, demonstrated exceptional leadership, integrity and professionalism.
“I know that your footprints will remain visible in our drive to build a strong and united ANLCA.
