The National Vice President of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), Prince Segun Oduntan, has congratulated the association’s former President, Prince Olayiwola Shittu on his 75th birthday, today, October 15, extolling his impactful contributions to Nigeria’s maritime industry development.
In a congratulatory message, Oduntan hailed Shittu as a quintessential icon, a rare model of excellence and integrity whose legacy has left an indelible mark in the freight forwarding sub sector of the industry.

”You are truly an iconic customs broker and a leader par excellence in the Nigerian maritime sector, whose enduring contributions have redefine the business of freight forwarding and customs brokerage.
“Your exemplary and indelible leadership as former president of ANLCA laid a solid foundation for progress. You did not just lead; you worked tirelessly to redefine the business of freight forwarding and customs brokerage, establishing higher standards of efficiency and professionalism that we strive to maintain today,” Oduntan said.
The ANLCA’s Vice President also praised Prince Shittu’s dedication to developing future industry professionals, noting that his commitment to mentorship has raised a generation of leaders within the industry, cementing his legacy far beyond his tenure.

Oduntan also highlighted Shittu’s intellectual contributions, noting that his intervention in the nation’s maritime discourse have consistently influence government policies.
Oduntan prayed that God continues to guide Shittu through the years ahead.
