General Manager, Corporate and Strategic Communications, Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Olaseni Alakija, has retired, handing over the office to Ibrahim Nasir, who has been appointed to serve as Acting General Manager of the department, MARITIME TODAY ONLINE is reporting.
The Acting General Manager, Corporate and Strategic Communications is the chief spokesman of the NPA.
Alakija, was appointed head of the Corporate and Communications department barely six months ago before his retirement last month.
Until his appointment, Nasir was the Assistant General Manager, Corporate and Strategic Communications Unit.
It is expected that Nasir will bring to bear his wealth of experience and knowledge of public relations in his new position having served in the Corporate Communications department for over five years.
Nasir could not be reached for comments on the recent development as the time of filing in this report.
