The Maritime Workers’ Union of Nigeria (MWUN) has expressed and shown its appreciation for the leadership of President-General Comrade Adewale Adeyanju by presenting him with a Toyota Highlander.
The gift was given in recognition of Adeyanju’s service to humanity and his significant contributions to the maritime industry.
The four branches of the Union, namely Shipping, Seafarers, Dockworkers, and NPA, expressed their satisfaction with Adeyanju’s leadership style and his scientific approach to resolving labor-related matters.

They presented him with the keys and relevant documents of the vehicle at the union’s national secretariat in Lagos on Monday.

Top executives from each branch took turns to thank Adeyanju for his leadership and his commitment to the union.
They praised his ability to resolve labor disputes peacefully and his dedication to improving the working conditions of maritime workers.
Responding, Adeyanju thanked the Union for the gift and reaffirmed his commitment to serving the union and its members.
He said while still in office, he would continue to work to improve the working conditions of maritime workers and to ensure that the union remains a strong voice for its members.
