The Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Dr Dennis Otuaro, has extended his heartfelt condolences to veteran maritime journalist and publisher, Elder Asu Beks, on the passing away of his wife, Mrs Helen Asu Beks.
Dr Otuaro in a statement issued by his Special Assistant on Media, Mr Igoniko Oduma, said he received the news of her demise at the age of 58 with deep shock and sadness.
He described Mrs Beks’ passing as profoundly painful and heartbreaking, as it has left a huge void in the Beks family and community.
Dr Otuaro noted that she was a strong woman and a committed mother who was very supportive of her husband, children and family.
The PAP Administrator expressed his deepest sympathy to Elder Asu Beks, their children and the entire family in their moment of profound sorrow and grief.
He urged them to draw strength from the fact that God has called her home and He cannot be questioned by anyone.
Dr Otuaro prays to God to comfort them and also give them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss, as well as grant Mrs Beks’ soul eternal repose in His bosom.
