The Tin Can Island Port has announced that it received another vessel, MV Great Antwerp, the largest Roll- On Roll-Off (RORO) vessel ever to visit Nigeria.
This is coming barely two months after the port received MSC Maureen, the largest ever container vessel to call at the Lagos ports.
The vessel, MV Great Antwerp which has length overall (LOA) of 250metres, beam of 38 metres and draught of 9 metres berthed at the Port and Terminal Multipurpose Terminal (PTML) on Wednesday, 28 June, 2023.

The vessel also sailed out of the terminal at 0800hrs on Friday, 30th June, 2023.
Nigerian pilots Captain Bassey E. Robert and E. Nelson both from the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) received the vessel.
