The Western Naval Command (WNC) on Saturday completed its Third Quarter Route march, aimed at enhancing the physical fitness and operational readiness of its personnel.
The event, held at the Nigerian Navy Sports Complex in Navy Town, Ojo, saw participation from officers showcasing their operational strength.

In his remarks, the Flag Officer Commanding (FOC), Western Naval Command, Rear Admiral MG Oamen, who was represented by the Command Operations Officer, Commodore A Muhammad, commended the personnel for their enthusiastic participation
He emphasized the crucial role of physical fitness in ensuring the force remains proactive and ready to safeguard its Area of Responsibility (AOR).
The route march, which began at 0630AM from the Navy Town Sports Complex, saw participants proceeded to the Naval Ordnance Depot gate, and thereafter returned to the starting point.
The exercise, which concluded at 8:30 AM, reinforced the command’s dedication to a physically capable and operationally prepared naval force.
