Assistant Comptroller General of Customs, ACG Charles Orbih has assumed duty as the new Zonal Coordinator in charge of Nigeria Customs Service Zone A.
In his inaugural address at the Zone’s headquarters in Lagos on Tuesday, ACG Orbih expressed his commitment to strengthening the Zonal structure.
He emphasized the importance of teamwork, innovation and engagement with relevant stakeholders to achieve these objectives in line with the Comptroller General of Customs Bashir Adewale Adeniyi policy thrust, which include Consolidation, Collaboration, and Innovation.
A statement issued by the Zonal Public Relations Officer, Akanneyene Edeminam said ACG OC Orbih got enlisted into the service decades back and he is a member of different professional bodies.
In the course of his career, he has attended professional courses on leadership and management both locally and globally.
Before his appointment as the Zonal Coordinator Zone ‘A’ he had served in many capacities amongst which include Customs Area Controller Imo/Abia Command, Murtala Muhammed International Airport Command and as the Zonal Coordinator Zone ‘C’ of the Service.
