The Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN) led by President-General Comrade Francis Bunu Abi, has inaugurated four new haulage units under the Dockworkers branch of the Union in Delta State.
The four newly established units located in Delta State and their leaders are:
Ifiekoro/Obeji Unit: Chairman Comrade Endurance Odongharo Bobele and Secretary Andy Eyifoma Omagbemi.
Sapele Unit: Chairman Comrade Felix Oborodowan and Secretary Akoko Ag.
Koko Unit: Chairman Comrade Happy Wilkie and Secretary Bright Dumkpemi.
Oghara Unit: Chairman Comrade Daniel Ayoka and Secretary Tanno Kingsley.
Following the inauguration, Comrade Agboola Bolaji, President of the Dockworkers Branch, addressed the new officers urging them to uphold the union’s constitution and conduct themselves professionally to avoid tarnishing the union’s reputation.
Bolaji congratulated the newly elected officers of the units alongside his branch executives and further urged them to be good ambassadors of the Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria at all times.
“The inuaguration of the new Units has heralded a new era into the Union at large, ” he said.
