The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has announced that successful candidates shortlisted for recruitment into the Service will undergo physical screening and documentation at the Nigeria Customs Command and Staff College (NCCSC), Gwagwalada, Abuja.
The Service disclosed this in a statement issued by its National Public Relations Officer, Abdulahi Maiwada who said all shortlisted candidates are required to report at the designated venue on the dates allocated to their respective states and cadre.
According to the statement, candidates are expected to come along with the original and photocopies of their National Identification Number (NIN); original Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age; as well as educational certificate(s), including O’Level, ND, HND, Degree or other applicable qualifications.
In addition, candidates are also required to present a Certificate of State of Origin; two recent passport photographs; a completed Guarantor’s Form; and an NYSC Certificate, where applicable.
The NCS further directed the candidates to appear in a white T-shirt, shorts, and canvas shoes for the exercise.
The NCS stressed that attendance at the physical screening and documentation exercise is compulsory, warning that failure to appear as scheduled may lead to disqualification from the recruitment process.
The Service said shortlisted candidates who successful completed the physical screening and documentation exercise will receive further instructions regarding subsequent stages of the recruitment process.
The Nigeria Customs Service, under the leadership of the Comptroller-General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, and his management team, reaffirmed it’s committment to ensuring that the recruitment exercise remain transparent, fair and merit-based.
The Service also urged candidates to rely solely on official NCS communication channels for authentic information regarding the exercise.
