The Nigerian Association of Master Mariners (NAMM), led by its President, Capt. Tajudeen Alao has commended the President -General of Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN), Comrade Adewale Adeyanju, for his exemplary leadership roles which has led to the transformation of the Union.
A statement by Head of media, MWUN, Comrade John Ikemefuna noted that Captain Alao was full of praises for Adeyanju over his dynamic leadership qualities for facilitating the peaceful resolution of a longstanding dispute of 23 years between the faction loyal to the pioneer President -General, of MWUN, Comrade Uzoije Ukaummunna and the succeeding leadership of the union.
The President of NAMM also said that with this united front, a lot will be achieved for all the maritime workforce; praying for the MWUN President -General for God’s guidance, and more wisdom and knowledge, which will continue to strengthen him to surmounting all challenges in his good office.
