The Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) has distanced itself from a group identified as the Joint Association of Customs Clearing and Forwarding Agents (JACCOF).
In a public disclaimer signed by its National Secretary, Olumide Fakanlu, ANLCA stated that it is not a member of JACCOF and has no formal association with the body. The association urged stakeholders and members of the public to disregard any claims or representations suggesting that ANLCA is affiliated with, or represented within, JACCOF.
According to the notice, any individual or group purporting to act on behalf of ANLCA in relation to JACCOF does so without the association’s authorisation.
ANLCA advised stakeholders seeking clarification to contact its National Secretary on 08034086626 or reach the ANLCA National Secretariat in Amuwo Odofin, Lagos.
The association thanked stakeholders for their continued cooperation and understanding.
