APFFLON congratulates new PTML Customs Controller, pledges support

APFFLON condemns incessant attacks on Customs operatives, seeks death penalty for smugglers  

The Africa Association of Professional Freight Forwarders and Logistics of Nigeria (APFFLON), has congratulated Comptroller Suleiman Bomai on his appointment as the Controller of the PTML Command of the Nigeria Customs Service.

Comptroller Bomai, takes over from ACG Festus Okun, who was in charge as the Command’s Controller from February 2020 to August 2022.

Chairman of APFFLON, PTML Chapter, Darrick Jude Ige in a congratulatory message to the Area Controller on behalf of the association expressed optimism that the new CAC would bring to bear his wealth of experience to retain the status of the Command as a model and business friendly port.

APFFLON also pledged to work in synergy with the CAC and other associations to see that the Command retains its pride of place as the best organized Port in Nigeria.

He expressed optimism that the Controller would make a significant difference at PTML Command, just as it congratulated the outgoing CAC, now Acting ACG, Festus Okun for a very successful administration, wishing him the best in his future endeavours.
