Chief Executive Officer of Bomarah Group and a national leader of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) Hajia Bola Muse, has been honoured with a chieftaincy title of Iyalaje Yoruba Kano by His Royal Majesty, Engineer Alimi Otitese, Oba Yoruba Kano, the paramount ruler of the Yoruba Community in Kano.
Muse, at the ceremony which held in the ancient city of Kano at the weekend and attended by eminent persons within and outside Lagos was bestowed with the chieftaincy title because of her immeasurable contribution to the wellbeing of the Yoruba Community in Kano especially the poor with empowerments in education, health and small business startups.
Hajia Muse grew up in Kano where she began her foray into the freight forwarding with the founding of Bomarah investment Nigeria Limited, a phenomenally successful company which has flourished with tentacles in a gamut of business endeavours including customs clearing and forwarding, aviation consultancy, haulage, barge operations, agriculture among others.
Muse is especially renowned for her philanthropy under the trademark of Bomarah Foundation, a platform through which she has lifted hundreds of people out of poverty. The Foundation visits Correctional centers with psychologists and medical experts to help needy inmates.
A national leader of the Association of Nigeria Licensed Customs Agents, Muse has deployed her resources immensely over 20 years in spearheading life changing humanitarian and religious projects and activities not only among the Yoruba Community in Kano but among all strata and segments of Kano and indeed in Lagos and all over Nigeria.
Among the personalities that graced the colourful ceremony were Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State, Chief Mrs Folasade Ojo, lyaloja General of Lagos, Alhaja Olabisi Balogun, CEO De Roots of Aso Oke, Alhaji Dauda Bello, Mallam Sanni Teina and entire Council of Chiefs.
