The management of Lekki Deep Sea Port, Nigeria’s first deep sea port, has congratulated Dr. Abubakar Dantsoho and Senator Adedayo Adeyeye on their recent appointments as Managing Director and Board Chairman of the Nigerian Ports Authority, respectively.
In a statement signed by the Managing Director, Du Ruogang, the company noted that with Dantsoho’s deep expertise in public service, there was no doubt that he would competently and diligently steer the affairs of the Nigerian Ports Authority with the objective of enhancing Nigeria’s ports’ efficiency and competitiveness across Africa.
Ruogang also congratulated Senator Adedayo Adeyeye, on his appointment as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Nigerian Ports Authority.
In the statement, Du Ruogang further noted that Lekki Deep Sea Port has enjoyed immense support from the Nigerian Ports Authority through the course of its development and construction phases and more so now that it has started commercial operations since April 2023.
He expressed confident that Lekki Deep Sea Port will continue to be supported to reach its full potential, which is in tandem with the objective of the Federal Ministry of Marine & Blue Economy to drive maritime trade to hasten the economic recovery of Nigeria.
